Hot Squirrel in Magnolia!

If anyone wants to know how hot it's been here......just look at this squirrel! It has been 105 degrees the last few days and maybe a few degrees hotter according to some forecasts. The picture quality is low because I took it through the window. Hopefully you can make it out. This squirrel has his back legs splayed out like some dogs do. Oliver spotted it. He asked"Mommy what is that squirrel doing?" Good question, probably trying to cool off! For those of you that know how hot is does get here, it hasn't been fun in Sac town at the Macy residence. No central air, but do a have a lousy, almost good for nothing standing AC unit that barely "puts out." To say the least, this "big mama" has been one "hot mama" no pun intended. Anyone want company for the summer?

Father's Day!

On this Happy Daddy's Day you see me relaxing on J-P's new hammock that the kids and I found for his gift. However, this was at the end of the day and my first attempt to see how it felt. Yes it feels great, thanks for asking! It's been cooler in Sac than usual, but you won't find anyone complaining around here.
These pics are out of order, but this was taken down by the river. We ventured out for some water scenery. We are trying to make funny faces.
Caught Oliver earlier playing in this bin of dirty water. Luckily he changed out of his Sunday duds. Love his front slick hair-do! Calvin is our pet groomer who insists on brushing the pooch "in style". If I didn't know better, I would say he was a blind boy trying to make some extra change. Man's best friend! J-P loves singing "Stand by your Man" to Ammon. This dog does just that and if I try to get any affection from "my man" the dumb dog barks at me. I love Ammon too, but these two! Please!
The happy couple! See what I mean?

Not sure what I'm telling Oliver here, but I'm sure it's really philosophical and deep. I think that's why he looks so confused. Wanted to add that there seems to be more pics of me and the kids and it's ironic because that's how it was on Mother's Day. (I don't think it was posted) I took more pics of J-P and the boys on my day then the opposite. We keep it balanced. All in all I think it was a good day for the dad of the family. He had early Sunday meetings so I got up and made him french toast with honey butter.....mmmm scrump! After church, I made a big brunch that consisted of cinnamon rolls, hash browns, eggs and bacon. It was happy eating. Then a nice lazy afternoon nap for the parents as the kids watched a movie and snuck popcicles. I think they ate about five each. At least they were occupied and we got some rest! Then that's when we headed off to the river.

Idaho

Cooks 2 hole bar. Great burgers and even better company for lunch.
Dan, Aaron, Ryan and J-P's lunch spot after a great ride.

The Masonic Lodge up in Silver City

The dirt-biker dudes! They look good dirty, don't they?

There really is no comparison. I look like I'm trying to push something out. We were however 20 weeks apart at that point......crazy, eh?

Family pic. The whole fam damily, well almost!

Ry and Whit's dream house. Hope you obtain that residence, that would be fantastic!

Crazy kids!

Ma and Pa! They're getting old!

It's tough trying to run with the "big dogs"! One pit stop and he's out like a light.

After the blessing in front of Dan and Sarah's new digs! Calvin is like,"Not another picture!"

One cute prego mama!

The host and hostess with the mostess!

I think Gauge should be the new icon for the energizer battery or maybe a energy drink. I want that kids energy! Give me what he's got!

Happy Birthday Ryan!!
We feel horrible that we didn't get to say it in person today. By the time we actually settled down it was pretty darn late tonight. We love you so much and are so thankful that you are a part of our lives. We can't wait to see you in 3 weeks!! Hope you had a terrific day.

The beautiful couple. Cliche I know, but true.

St. George, UT

If I could, I'd be delivering one of these for you on your birthday.

Winnemucca

We've enjoyed many trips, many adventures, yet the best are yet to come my friend.

In the earlier days of becoming best friends.

I guess I hadn't realized yet that Ryan was always up for a "gun show"

Lots to catch up on

Here are a plethora of pics from the last couple of months and they are not in order, sorry. I am going to put a much greater effort in our families blog.

The boys got invited to a birthday party for their friend Cobin Salazar.
We were there for a short while as we had to get on the road to Oregon.

This picture was taken on our way down to San Diego for the ACN international training.
It was the first time I had a chance to see a new VMax in person. Of course I called Ryan immediately.

These two pictures were taken at the Lodge (a diner by our house.)
The boys love to go there for some bacon and french toast.

We went to Klamath Falls Oregon to meet the Thompsons. It turns out that it is exactly half between us. Tanya was able to get a nice condo for us to share. The kids enjoyed each other but most of all they enjoyed the pool.

We took an afternoon to see Crater Lake. WOW! Its amazing.

It was so bright we were all in extreme pain trying to look at the camera.

Easter Sunday was a good time. The boys got some new clothes and after church, Mommy insisted (as usual) on taking pictures.

They boys had two different egg hunts. Barbara Merrick had one and Morgan and Ilene did a great job hiding eggs at our house.

Out of order but a cute moment we thought.

Cousin claire came over with uncle Rick and aunt Kimberly.
Here Grandma is helping guide her around.

The boys do love Claire

Caught in a moment of weekness. Yes he is his fathers son. Falling asleep while admiring and playing with a 68 charger.

Calvin has just about finished up his first set of Karate classes.
He loves Karate.

Again, like father like son.

My Gram, also known as GG by the boys. (Great Grandma)

Uncle Morgan is such a good sport, and a great uncle.

Calvin is becoming quite the photographer.

Ammon is still doing well.
