More Easter Sunday

Christi made a terrific Coq Au Vin meal for easter and Ilene made a delectable peach cobbler. Oh so good. My Mom, Kimberly, Rick joined us on the back patio.

Ilene: "It tastes like butta"

Christi: "Yeah what she said"

Easter Weekend

Saturday found the boys in their swim suits with a hose in the yard.

Calvin was in control of the hose....

He is an incredible shot!

Easter Sunday was so exciting. On Saturday night the kids put their baskets on the front porch. We realized that Calvin was ultimately afraid of the Easter Bunny and wanted to know that he was not coming inside our house while we were asleep. We told him "no", he would hop on by the front and leave candy in his basket. Sunday morning came and the boys were quick to look at what was brought.

The Easter Bunny knew about Calvin's bike so he brought a helmet for Calvin. Oliver got a three wheel scooter. Thomas the engine scooter none the less.

A Week in March

Calvin got to come to work with Daddy one morning. It was great! If you are Calvin.

Last Sunday Ilene came over to watch the boys for me while I went to a couple of early meetings. Christi was in Oregon visiting her friend Tanya.

The boys have really been enjoying the back yard lately with the weather being so nice.

Both of them having been getting a little long on top.

Christi took care of that early in the week. Olivers hair cut was left a little longer as his hair is more curly. Christi and I both had a hard time with Calvin's new cut as we felt like we lost our little boy and gained a 5 year old.

Things are business as usual for Oliver.

Calvin got his first bike. He can actually ride this down the street. Thanks to training wheels. He is pretty excited.

Oliver has plenty of other toys to ride on. He was "Camp Patrol" this day. At least thats what one of his patches said.

Calvin is very serious about being a "worker". Here is striking what Christi calls a "Dan Pose"

Back at it.

After a great weekend its back to the grindstone. With the clocks moved forward I was able to mow the lawn after work. I had a helper.

Mission Accomplished

Last weekend I flew to Utah to help Ryan work on his Bronco. Dan flew in from Idaho and Aaron drove up from Payson to give Ryan a boost in momentum. We spent two long days working in his custom garage. After 4 trips to Beto's and 2 deliveries of pizza and countless beverages we actually accomplished what we set out to do. Some unforseen obstacles reared their nasty little heads but Ryan will make short work of them and finally get to take this baby on the trail.

We were fortunate to have some really cute kids playing nearby. This is Boston and Paxton.

The trip was a complete success. The mission was three fold. First was the work at hand. Second and more importantly was the motivation factor. Finally and by far the most important, was the time spent with my best friends. Thanks Ryan, Dan and Aaron for the great memories!

Reflecting One Self

Calvin is exploring the artistic world of self imressionism.

Diary of a Wombat

The nightly routine. This night Mommy was reading.

The bed they are in is currently Calvins bed. It was the toddler bed that I slept in at his age and my father slept in and his mother slept in and her mother also slept in as a toddler. Yes my Great Grandmother Dorothy Sherlock aka Mamoo slept in this bed. That would date this bed at at least 100 years old!

Gymnastics

Sorry the pictures are pretty weak but the subject is great!

Calvin absolutely loves to go to gymnastics. Oliver also goes to a class that is parent assisted.

Mommy needed a little time so we (all the boys) went to the grocery store. Ammon waited in the car while we shopped.

Living the life. Oliver is one cool cat!
