Vicki's in town

Brent's mom Vicki came to visit for about a week. Brent invited us up for a dinner at his place to visit. Sunday night we went up and Brent made a delicious stir fry dinner.
Thanks Brent.

The boys both just love Brent

It was great to get to visit with you Vicki. Hopefully we can get down to your place to see the new house and catch up with Al sometime soon.
Love you Vicki!

67 Vette

Check this one out!

This is an all original, not restored 67 convertible. Its got the 435hp 427 with three 2s. Still owned by the original purchaser. Dan, Dannys dad has this one. It was one of the multiple vettes owned by the different frat bros back in my parents college days. Too cool.

Congratulation Danny and Erin

Saturday August 9 was the day that Danny got married. I think he is known by his peers as Dan but I have always know him as Danny. Though we haven't actually spent as much time together as I'd of liked, to me Danny is like a little brother. Our Dad's are best friends and are fraternity brothers from Cal Poly. Over the years our families have spent many summer vacations on lake Shasta together. Danny I am so proud of you and proud to know you. Thank you for the invitation. You have a beautiful bride.
Erin, congrats! We look forward to getting to know you better. You are clearly an amazing woman to have captured such an incredible guy. (Danny has always had very high standards)

Good times were had by all!

Berry Picking

The day after Grandpa arrived Christi had a mommy's group trip planned. They went berry picking up at a farm in Auburn. Its a pretty cool place where you need a reservation as the farm owners limit the number of people so that it never feels crowded. The berry of the season is the black berry and the kids loved it! They fill their baskets and eat berries all the while.
One cool thing is that they have thorn less berry bushes.

Oliver did a good job at filling his basket up and then he found a good place to sit and eat what he had collected.

Oh yeah, Grandpa kinda got accidentally tricked into going with the mommy's group.

The family came back with over 10 lbs of black berries.

Rafting the South Fork

On Thursday of Dad's visit we took the day to do some river rafting. The guy not in the picture is Randy Porpillia or at least thats how we know him. He has a new name now, I think its Ray Michaels now. Anyway, he has been a river guide for over 25 years now. We had a great time with some Class III rapids. Thanks Randy. It was a great day.

Grandpa's Here!!

Grandpa arrived today and the boys can't seem to get enough of him. He treated us all to a Chinese dinner with Rick, Kimberly, and cousin Claire.

Night two found us all at "The Old Spaghetti Factory". Seems to be a family favorite.

Thanks for treating us everywhere Dad!

The Cruiser

A late post but an early gift. This year couldn't hold a candle to last years birthday party for Christi, but the gift she got was exactly what she has been wanting for over 5 years now.

I must admit that this thing is really fun to ride. I might have to get one, a little less pink however.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTI!!!

This is the card Brent made for Christi.
Could there be a groovier babe?

Today is the birthday of the love of my life!
Last night we celebrated with Ilene and Morgan and our friend Brent by going to "The Fire House" Restaurant in Old Town Sacramento. It was quite an experience. The Fire House is a five star restaurant and needless to say many of us needed some translation for the menu. We returned home and enjoyed a movie together.
Unfortunately later that night Christi fell terribly sick and not left either the bed or the toilet all day. Rough way to celebrate 31. She is amazing though. Still giving of her love to us all through out. Christi I am so thankful I have you in my life. You have accomplished so much and set such a great example to me and the boys. Thank you for all you do and being all that you are.
