Our Ward Talent Show!

Our church put on a talent show and Calvin had another venue to showcase his jokes.

The boys were asked to be apart of a Haka dance by our friends who are Tahitian and Samoa. This is part of their rich culture and I was happy the boys got to experience a small bit of it.

Our friend, Bonita, who is Samoan made all of the costumes and was very organized. She made them practice every week for two months before the big night! Bonita gave all the boys a necklace that you see around Oliver's neck for doing the Haka.  Bonita also insisted that they look fierce. That's Oliver trying to be fierce.

J-P was apart of it too. Even though it took some coaxing, he did a great job dancing like he was a mean warrior!

I was asked to be on the panel of judges for the talent show as in American Idol.  I was slated to be JLo, but I decided to be Darth Vader instead.  I thought it would be way more fun than being JLo and it was!!!!

The kids thought their mom was silly and if they were any older, I definitely would have embarrassed them!
