OREGON!

This was our visit before we officially moved to Oregon.

Shot pistols and rifles. I even went a few rounds. I don't know much about guns, but I think they are a bit over-rated. But, shhh you didn't hear that from me!

The boys widdling wood

My dancing boys

Honda 110 ride through the enchanted forest

I rode Doc. He is five and still very green. Gary who is the owner of this fine animal was coaching me. It was nice to be in the saddle again.

Calvin impressed us all, even Gary. He is a natural and took to Nine like he had ridden him for years. Nine is 27 and is a babysitter. He is the best horse for beginners!

Gary giving Cal a few pointers

You can see how Nine is responding to Cal.....look at his ears. SO proud of you Cal!

Oilver on the other hand was out for a nature walk with no agenda. Nine took him for ride.

It's as if Oliver is thinking.......is this where I wanted to go?

Cosette eating a graham cracker on the veranda

All smiles even when........

what you ate leaks out the back. It was a glorious morning!

Soon after cleaning up one mess, I had another one to tend to. Do you see my life? It's full of POOP!

Calvin got bored and decided he had a brilliant idea! Digging a hole in the back yard at the Thompsons. Tanya insisted that I let him. Apparently it looked like so much fun that the other little people wanted to help. I couldn't help but feeling like Glen and Doty from Raising Arizona. When they visited "HI", Glen and Doty's kids destroyed their house. If you've seen the movie, I'm sure one of the images in your head would be of the kids writing FART on "HI's" wall. Yes folks, I feel like white trash. Tanya reassures me that it's a perfect hole for a fruit tree.

Jane not wanting a picture taken of her. Strange, but I did this as a kid? Go figure.

Jack
Tanya has mad skills in the kitchen. She is always whipping something up tasty and healthy to eat! Thanks Tanya! You are a great hostess!

We had such a great time!
Becoming a Oregonian will be a challenge!
Wish us the best of luck!
