Congratulations Gordon and Erin

Our very good friends Gordon and Erin got engaged today!

After getting her parents permission, Gordon proposed to her in front of all of their co-workers and friends down in St. Croix.

Apparently Erin was the only one of the large group that didn't know it was coming.

We love our friends. They are a beautiful couple and deserve the best that life has to offer.

We are so incredibly happy for you guys. Congratulations.

This Weekend

A little Sunday afternoon walk.

Calvin asked to go to the motorcycle store.

We did some browsing.

A baby's blessing.

Three weeks ago we were fortunate enough to be asked to bless the baby of our good friends Gary and Claire Portellas. It was truly a wonderful experience. This is their second baby, his name is Cruz Hudson Portellas. He was just about to turn 1.

Calvin is sitting with Cruz's older brother and good friend to Calvin, Luca.

Calvin's other buddy was there, Bryant Detling.

We went for another club run. It was cool to be together as a family on this one.

A little at a time

Some more life.....

The family worked hard on a pirate puzzle tonight.
Calvin is getting pretty good at it. Oliver understands what we
are doing but can't quite get the pieces in the right place.

Oliver recently found himself a bit caught up.

He managed to run the motorcycle into the Japanese Maple found just
off the back patio.

Oliver is completely hooked on books. This day he pulled all
of the books out of the red wagon (behind him) and
put them on the train table. For bed time he must have multiple books
read to him, Calvin too, and then Oliver takes a few to bed to
look at while he is going to sleep.

Calvin is truly a good big brother. He tried to teach Oliver
how to use the fishing pole.

A couple of days ago Oliver decided it was time to pick out his own clothes.
Here he is wearing first, a pair of pajamas (you can't see those they are down under)
then some sweat pants and a day shirt, finally he wanted his swimming suit and
matching beach muscle shirt. He actually wanted more but Mommy stopped him.
